MS Access: Open the database exclusively in Access
Problem:-When you tried to tables n my MS Access database and received an error message stating that You needed to open the database exclusively. What does this mean and how do you can open a database exclusively?
Solution: Because Access was designed to accommodate multiple users in the system at the same time, you may need to have exclusive access to the database to modify forms, tables, etc. depending on the circumstances.
To open an Access database exclusively, From the Menu File-->Open--> Then you have to select the Access database and from then bottom right corner of the Open window dialog box, you have to select the Open exclusively option.
Your Access database will open. You can also change the password or remove the password Protection from database by clicking on Set Database password
