Job Description:
- Plan, develop, and implement targeted recruiting strategies aligned to the company growth plans including, when required, draft job descriptions, determine wage ranges and required skill sets to support required roles
- Coordinate advertisement of roles, recruitment events, external recruitment resources
- Oversee company on-boarding processes, including compliance with employment documentation, set up with company resources as required and coordination of training plans with direct supervisor(s)
- Assist with developing, implementing and managing all HR policies and procedures
- Ensures all programs in place are in adherence to legal and regulatory standards
- Manage day-to-day HR activity within assigned practice area(s) and escalate as required
- Plan and prepare communication material related to HR programs, initiatives and requirements
- Keep abreast of risk management issues and implement change management initiative as required
- Coach leaders and employees on employee relations, employment law interpretation, complaints, investigations, risk reduction and response management, employee engagement and performance, leadership development, pay and benefits, conflict resolution, absenteeism management, performance management, progressive discipline, HR documentation and terminations
