Kanwaljit Singh is an Indian actor who has performed in films as well as television serials. He has acted in Hindi and Punjabi films. Kanwaljit is also very popular in Indian television and always appeared in the role of father , uncle , and brother. He never seen is lead role but his character was always important in the serial. Kanwaljit sigh debut movie was Shankar Hussain which was released in 1977, he essayed the role of Inaam Husain in this movie. After that, he appeared in many Bollywood movie like Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai, Rustom, Happy Bhag Jayegi, Bang Bang! And many more. He is soon appeared in Bollywood romantic movie Tum Bin II which will release in 2016.

Kanwaljit Singh was born and brought up in a Punjabi family. After settle himself in her career, he tied a knot with Anuradha Patel who is also an actress and granddaughter of legendary actor Ashok Kumar. The couple has two sons Aditya and Sidharth and they adopted a daughter, Mariam, who is living in the United States.
He has been entertaining his fans for many years. In 1977 he began his acting career and after that did many movies such as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Phir Se.., Satte Pe Satta, Dil Maange More, MP3 – Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar, Inkaar.
